With the sea on one side and gardens filled with lush vegetation and blooming Mediterranean plant life on the other, Dinard's eight kilometres of coastal footpath meander along, inviting walkers to enjoy a unique panorama that changes with the colour of the sky and with the tides, whose amplitude can reach up to 14 metres along our coastline.

The path runs along the sea from the Ecluse beach to the Plage de Saint Enogat beach, beneath the magnificient Villas which attest to the resort's glorious past.
 

 

 

From the Rance barrage to the Prieuré beach : a walk along the wildest part of the Chemin de Ronde wall walk, whixh reveals a superb view of the Rance estuary, the Solidor Tower and the Bizeux rock, on top of which stands a statue of the Virgin Mary.

9, Avenue de la Libération - Dinard

A 5-hectare municipal park planted with trees and flowers opposite the Plage du Prieuré beach, offering children's games, a small lake, a fitness trail, 40 species of animal, 20 species in an aviary, and a rose garden with more than 2,000 plants.

 
 
Moonlight Promenade : The Promenade du Clair de Lune, which runs between the Prieuré beach and the Pointe du Moulinet headland, is well - oriented and protected, tempting walkers to take their time and relax as they wander along the gardens, whose bright touches of colour and scents give it a very special charm. From July to September, the garden is lit up from the Quai de la Perle wharf onwards, and graced with a selection of musical atmospheres.
 
 
From the Saint Enogat beach, after the Goule aux Fées grotto and the Pointe de la Roche Pelée headland, the footpath leads to the Port Blanc beach.

Beaches

Everyone can choose for themselves and find something to make them happy in Dinard, wether they prefer large sandy beaches or tiny inlets, the bustle of activities and tournaments or greater tranquility, not to mention the fact that before and after the summer season, there is still the pleasure of treading the sand, breathing in the fresh, pure air and taking in the immense beauty of the surrounding scenery.

Dinard's main beaches are all equipped with first aid posts open 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.in summer. Some of them rent out beach huts, beach tents, deck chairs and parasols on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

From June to September on the Plage de l'Ecluse beach, entertainment and tournaments open to all, keep fit sessions and aquarobics are available to anyone who wants to join in between two breaks.

PROMENADE DU CLAIR DE LUNE : Take a walk on Clair de Lune and you'll enjoy a relaxing seawall promenade, renowed for its exotic greenery. You can also join one of the great Dinard classics walk every night from July to September, where sounds of classical music in the background and light shows are held. You may be surprised to discover the Mediterranean vegetation with illuminated floral decorations.
